Phili Annual Meeting a Success

The 198th annual meeting of the Supreme Council completed its business in Philadelphia this week. Among the changes were the retirement of Delaware Deputy, Albert R. Marshall and Ohio Deputy, Neil M. Smalley. Robert G. Elrod also retired as Deputy in Indiana but is retaining his position as an Active member.

New Deputies are:

    Gail N. Kemp for Indiana
    James T. Elliott Jr for Delaware
    William R. Powers for Ohio

New Active Members are:

    Douglas N. Kaylor for Ohio
    Donald M. Moran for Massachusetts
    George M Morris III for New York
    P. Michael Neilsen for New York
    Charles C. Wicks for Indiana

John Hanson was appointed as Grand Seneschal and Wayne A. Pease as Assistant Grand Seneschal.

Degree Dates

Degree Dates Now Posted

The schedule for Valley degree dates are now posted for September 2010 through January 2011.

Members of the Rite who are traveling in the course of business or pleasure are encouraged to witness the work of other Valleys. Examinations are not required for admission to the meetings of other Valleys. A visiting member gains entrance upon presentation of a current card.

The dates listed here are based upon advance information received from local Valleys. Prospective visitors should verify dates with the Secretary of the Body to be visited before making definite plans. Also, a number of Valleys are in the process of changing meeting sites, degree conferring schedules, or experimenting with new locations for degree work.

Pay Your Dues Online

Members now have the ability to pay dues online simply by clicking the image or going to the Member’s Center (upper right). It is a two-step process.

Begin by registering. Click on “New User? Click Here to Register.” That brings up a page where you key in your 9-digit membership number and your birth date.

If your membership is active you will be asked to create a password.

You will then be sent an email. Follow the instructions in the email.

Once registered, you will be able to log in using your member number or your email address.
